Visits to your parents in Laktaši

We are from Laktaši. When your parents here need someone to come by, shop, pay or go with them to an appointment, someone from the same area comes, and you get a report after every visit.

Moji Kod Kuće started in Laktaši. Stefan is from here and has seen the same thing for years: older people stay alone in their houses while their children live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and look after them from afar. So Laktaši is not just a place on our list; it is where we live and the area we know.

We are not a medical service and we do not come every day. We come at the agreed time, handle concrete practical things and tell you what was done, what it cost and what comes next.

Laktaši and the villages around it

We come to the town itself and to the villages of Laktaši municipality: Aleksandrovac, Klašnice, Jakupovci, Kriškovci, Mahovljani, Glamočani, Petoševci, Trn and others. Many parents here live in a house with a yard, far from the shop and the pharmacy, so what helps most is someone who brings what they need and takes what needs to be handed in or paid.

Typical errands in Laktaši: shopping and the pharmacy, paying electricity, water and phone bills, the post office and the bank, paperwork at the municipality, booking appointments and going with your parent to the health centre or to Banja Luka, checking the house and yard before winter, or simply a coffee and a chat so your parent is not always alone.

What a visit looks like

  1. We agree it with you. Before the visit we know what is needed: shopping, the pharmacy, a bill, an appointment, or simply checking that everything is fine at home.
  2. We arrive at the agreed time. Arrival and departure are recorded with a GPS check on our assistant's phone, and you see them in the report.
  3. We do what was agreed. Every purchase comes with a receipt. Anything over 50 KM (about €25) needs your approval first.
  4. You get the report. The coordinator reviews the report, then it arrives in the family portal: what was done, how your parent is, receipts and next steps.

What it costs

The trial visit costs €49 and is not a subscription: an introduction, one agreed visit and a written report. If you continue, the €49 is credited against the first invoice.

Weekly Support costs €199 a month: four visits, one a week. What you pay for: the same person every week, a coordinator-reviewed report, GPS-confirmed arrival and departure, a receipt for every purchase, and everything in one place in the family portal. Packages with 1, 8 or 12 visits a month are available too.

Whatever is bought for your parents (groceries, the pharmacy, bills) is charged separately and always with a receipt. Payment is by invoice and bank transfer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you also come to the villages around Laktaši?

Yes. Laktaši and the surrounding villages are where we live, so that is where we can arrange visits at the shortest notice. Send us the address and we will agree a day that suits your parent.

Can you go with my parent to an appointment in Banja Luka?

Yes, going with your parent to a booked appointment in Laktaši or Banja Luka is arranged in advance. We book it, go along and write in the report what was agreed and what the next step is. We do not interpret results and we do not decide anything in place of doctors.

Who actually comes?

A regular person from the area and a backup introduced in advance. Everyone who comes has passed an identity and reference check, and makes their first visits together with the coordinator.

What if my parent does not want anyone to come?

Then we do not come. The first meeting is an introduction with no obligation. Many parents are reserved at first and relax once they see the same familiar person coming. The decision is still your parent's, and they can withdraw their consent whenever they want.

How much does one visit cost?

The trial visit is €49. In Weekly Support (€199 a month for four visits) one visit comes to about €50, including the report, receipts and the family portal. Purchases are paid separately, with a receipt.

How do I pay from abroad?

By invoice and bank transfer from Germany, Austria, Switzerland or any other country. We agree the price and scope in advance.
